finally the final blog!

Yes, this is disgustingly overdue but I say better late than never :)

multiple exposure:
This project was pretty quick and simple. I really like the idea of multiple exposure, it's like having twins of myself in a picture! I think mine looks pretty good because of the coolness of the colours in the photo and how well it blands together. My one problem with this would be the lighting of one of me which made the finished product look a little iffy. I guess that's one of the cons of working outside because of constant changing lighting.
( for some reason I can't upload this without the colours being inverted ): )

circus collage:
I started this project pretty late, mostly because I just didn't know where to begin. I kind of enjoyed going through old pictures and finding important items for me to include in this collage. It was pretty time consuming but in the end everything came together pretty fine.

vectorizing project:
Before taking media, I didn't even know about the Illustrator program. It was really cool learning about the different things we could do with it, including vectorizing. I think vectorizing in itself is a great enough concept but going further with it by using patterns and portraits looked amazing. I think my pattern was a little off because most of the items I used were circular and that made it harder for me to tessellate them in a regular pattern. My portrait was one of AJ Rafael, a YouTube star. Maybe one day I'll send it to him and he'll dedicate a video to me, aha :D

I am video:
I had a lot of fun with this project because I got to work on it with my friends. Our theme was "I am random" which of course allowed for us to do some really fun, random clips to our video. The filming and editing was pretty last minute, but we pulled it off. I wish we got it done earlier so it would have been in the art show.

In the end, I definitely learned a lot of things in this course that I find really useful in my everyday life. This course has been really fun for me, so if any current grade tens are reading this then I say to you, don't leave everything to the last minute! It's something worth doing throughout the year. Bye, media! :)
